Parking Guidance System (PGS)

The Parking Guidance System (PGS) is a comprehensive initiative designed to alleviate traffic congestion and improve the driving experience in Putrajaya. At its core is a responsive, mobile-friendly website (https://pgs.ppj.gov.my) that aggregates real-time parking space availability from both Perbadanan Putrajaya’s closed/gated parking facilities and private operators via robust API integration. Major operators such as KLCC Parking Management and Pulse Parking are required to push their real-time data to the central PGS API interface.

To support drivers on the road, Perbadanan Putrajaya has erected dynamic PGS LED Displays at strategic locations, providing immediate visibility into parking locations and availability. The municipal-owned closed parking facilities are equipped with advanced IoT sensors that leverage Perbadanan Putrajaya’s own LoRaWAN network for efficient, low-power data transmission.
