The Digital Twins of Putrajaya’s Trees initiative is a pioneering endeavor in urban forestry management. By utilizing geospatial mapping and RFID/NFC tagging, Perbadanan Putrajaya has created a comprehensive digital clone of its urban canopy. This system tracks the age, health, carbon sequestration capacity, and maintenance history of individual trees. It elevates landscape architecture into a precise, data-driven science, ensuring the sustainable growth of Putrajaya’s “City in a Garden” legacy.
