Overview
The Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP) initiative, integrated with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), crowd-sources urban safety by turning every citizen’s smartphone into an active security node. This platform allows residents to instantly report criminal activities, traffic incidents, or municipal hazards using multimedia uploads and precise geo-tagging. By bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community, VSP fosters a hyper-vigilant, collaborative environment that proactively deters crime.
